Has anyone had some coil springs made for a specific application? I have a 1983 Datsun Laurel with Silvia S12 front struts but the springs are a bit to short for my Laurel. I don't want to go the coilover route.

www.coilsprings.co.uk/ in sheffield will make you a custom spring to any poundage and ride height. If they have your car specification in their book, well worth a try.

when you say too short? you mean the car is too low?
If so, put a spacer plate between the top mount and the body. Ive got a 2" one on my rally car and it works very well

Yes, it is on the bumpstop that is inside the Bilstein.

ah ok, that wont work then. my spring was fine, it just made the car too low. so spacing the whole thing down worked well.
you do need a new spring then.

Make sure you thoroughly read their website for a chuckle though We host it for them, I don't even think they know they still have a website tbh.
