Had spotted this already in Your other thread and wished to had seen more of it, so thanks for this individual thread - with a funny title, too!
Not usually a fan of raised cars (acrophobia is greeting!) and far too many fat SUVs on the roads today anyway - but I would gladly drive this one.

I love these lifted Peugeot wagons. I was very tempted by a 504 version last year. Thankfully it was just too far gone for me to commit.

I used to live opposite this guy, he uses it regular, always doing tip runs and the like in it. Great car!

Very cool! Always like 505s, especially the wagons, and this one is really special!

We owned three estates in the past. Our first white one was sold to a guy from London via the yellow freeads paper. The kids liked the fact the seats were stepped. We then purchased a dark grey one. Coming back from Legoland at Stonehenge I turned around quickly to tell the kids to shut up. I missed the temp guage going up and we'd blown the head. They loved travelling home by recovery truck. On a call of nature the wife wasn't to happy with sharing the field with nosey cows. Going past the scrapyard one day there was an Astra shell outside with a sunroof. I relieved said sunroof and fitted it in the back of the grey 505. To fix it I purchased a red one from Essex (driven to Devon with a blowing exhaust manifold). I sold the alloy wheels to a friend who had ended up paying twice for them as he'd forgotten he'd already paid. The engine was changed outside the house on a Bank Holiday. The grey one eventually went to a school up North who had a partnership to a school in Africa so we believe it was to be repaired and sent out there.

Always keep wondering about Dangel conversions as a base for an Overland project, proper 4wd vans nowadays yet still cheaper than VW once scene tax applies.
Always been a fan of their wagon conversions(and this 505 looks the business😎)

Do love a 505 estate. I wonder if there are now more 505s still on the road in the US than here (fair old amount of 405s too). As I understand it they are still respected across the whole of Africa (nearly as much as the 504) and were still assembled in Nigeria up until some time in the early 2000s.

The 504 that Netflix used in the CROWN as Mark Thatchers Dakar car was for sale on eBay at a very tempting price a while back.
