Bit of advice guys please. I've been meaning to buy a Dremel for sometime. Now I really need one for cutting and grinding alloy , I'll need an extension shaft also so I presume buying a kit is the way to go? Something like the Dremel 3000 multi-tool, flexible shaft attachment and 25-piece accessory kit.
Is this o.k. or am I better off getting something else? Cheers.

I had the Dremel 3000 for a few years but killed it recently, it’s had some use to yea. Replaced it with the Ryobi One+ multi tool that has a motorbase and a shaft. I rarely use it away from the bench so it’s wall mounted which is dead handy but I can easily slip it off the mount and take it anywhere being cordless. If you are on a cordless system see if the makers do a multi tool. Otherwise I can’t complain about the Dremel.

What do you actually want to do with it? Dremels have thier use but think porting a chainsaw rather than porting a mini.
I have an original dremel with flexi attachment which is still going strong 25 years later. Not sure if modern ones have gone down hill or not tbh!
