I'm trying to get a rebuild kit for the rear drums on my 1980 Austin Princess 2 to no avail.
I don't know the part number. It's a 9" drum and it's probably a Lucas Girling or AP Lockheed part originally. It should be the same as Austin/Morris 18-22, Wolseley 2200, Austin Princess 2, and Austin Ambassador. The springs are similar in appearance to the smaller drums found on classic Mini, but larger.
I've found quite a few online providers that list the part on a search engine, but state no stock (or at best brake shoes only) on their site, including Ferodo.
If anyone knows the part number that might help me find the parts or better yet, a supplier for the rebuild kit, I'd appreciate that.

After much hunting I found a blog mentioning work on a Jensen Healey and they use the same drum brakes from '73 on for the Mk2 when they switched to Lockheed from Girling.
I've found one supplier of the return spring kit on eBay. It also suggests the same drums are used on Vauxhall Viva HC, though I've not been able to confirm this. ANG do list what looks to be the correct retaining washers, pins and springs that I also need.
Putting the info here in case anyone out there is looking for these parts for their Ambassador or Princess and are trying to cross reference other options.

Its a slow Vauxhall parts day so heres some Austin/Rover content, All viva are 4 by 4inch PCD or 101.6mm, a lot of it seems to be specific Princess so if you see stuff buy it while you can Shoes are LS1203, Drums are BF113, Cylinders are GWC11053 and the adjuster kit is LA15774, no one seems to list a fitting kit in my Lockheed book

Thank you, I've filed this info for future reference, I'm sure I'll end up needing it.

mfrv1 Brake cylinder listing there is probably handy as I might need those. There's nothing wrong with the ones on the car, but it's always best to be prepared if possible. westbay yep and sadly they don't stock anything for the rear. They do stock parts for the front, which I've used before.

I don't think that's really something they do, tbh. The Jensen Healey Mk2 drums are similar enough that the parts look like they should work, variations on a theme, the main being the shoes seem to be slightly thinner front to back than the Princess probably because of the rwd application instead of the Princess fwd. Fundamentally though, the springs are the same I and I do have a spring set now.
As for backing plates, the Jensen Healey Mk2 ones are available but also different and while they could probably be modified I'd be better off repairing the ones I've got for the work it would be. I may have some replacement backing plates from the second hand market, so I've got options there too.
Rear brake cylinders are one of the easier parts to get now I know what to look for, and I already have several sets of rear shoes and hoses in stock so mostly it looks like I'm good.
Converting the rear brakes to something more generic would be great if I knew how to do it. Just putting a more readily available 9" drum on the back would help a lot, I just lack the knowledge of how to do that sort of thing.

Update on this one.
I ended up having to re-use my old spring set. The Jensen Healey springs are the same design, just shorter, so they won't physically reach as far as they need to. At least I know now, and so do you if you're reading this. I also had to buy longer brake shoe retaining pins (42mm, Ford generic fitment) since the Jensen Healey ones were about 5mm too short.
I still haven't been able to find a spring set even listed for Princess/Ambassador, so it's just as well the parts I've got are okay.
