www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225054964959Useless description and no info at all on what I think is the most random of engine swaps for a car of this size 0-60 in around 40 seconds I guess ...

Now that's a sensible swap - Originally I guess they didn't like the fuel economy, and the only other engine they had was a really ancient diesel lump from the 60's/70's ?
The spec of this engine is so wrong for something weighing possibly over two tonnes, or so I thought - Fury weighs in at 1.5t and the 404 is only 250kg lighter! How is that possible?
8 CV Diesel: 1,948 cc (118.9 cu in) (64 PS [47 kW; 63 bhp]). - probably lost around 7hp over time so I now want to buy this car just to cure my curiosity!

I've got a morbid curiosity to know how bad that engine is combined with the Fury 😅 I kinda like it

The car has been on eBay before. Its an interesting prospect but, hmm, no. I can see why some rural Frenchman probably did it, but, hmm no. I think it opens up all kinds of possibilities for a better swap, or masochistically trolling the UK Mopars group. but, hmmm, no.
