I recently bought a low miles 106 and one really annoying thing on it is the steering wheel or rather the airbag plastic going sticky. Shoe polish stops it being so tacky for a while but it's no fix and I doubt Peugeot have any new ones.
I could fit a used one if I could find one that isn't also sticky but reading through the rules I have found state using used parts isn't recommended, not convinced a 20 year old air bag will be any good anyway.
I could remove the airbag wheel and try the obviously not missing route but I'm sure I read that if no suitable original parts are available you can modify at least I think thats the case with older classic cars.
Anyone got any ideas ?
