And its pink. Or peach perhaps. I have a suit which would match that beautifully either way. Its not my thing, but I find it oddly compelling.

Do like the look of these and have thought a lowered one on big rims would be good but for me, not that wheel/colour combo.

Why do the rear wheels look like they are too far forward in the arches?

Why do the rear wheels look like they are too far forward in the arches? Trailing arm or Beam axle most likely, moving the axle line so far above the pivot point inevitably pulls the wheel forwards.

Taken the worlds ugliest car and made it look even uglier!!! A year ago I'd have said the same thing, but these are growing on me! Would have to be the Nismo, though. I generally like lowered SUVs, crossovers, 4x4s etc, but that one is too low

That’s definitely gonna get a marmite response . Definitely not my thing , but on good on them for doing things their way . 👍 Seconded. Those things look wrong from every angle. It's like they went out of their way to design the most awkward looking car possible. We had one as a rental years ago, it should have been a Ford Focus but they made a hash of the booking. It was awful. Uncomfortable to drive, difficult to see out of, hard to park, tiny and cramped in the rear seat, tiny boot even with the false floor removed. It was big on the outside and small on the inside, the complete opposite of what you want and generally useless in every way.

Why do the rear wheels look like they are too far forward in the arches? welshpug got you covered on the reason. You can also see it happen on a lot of modern VWs, there are ways to resolve it, or at least make it less obvious. However if someone has built something for a bit of fun they often won't bother, or in the case of this Juke I suspect the parts/knowledge aren't as readily available.

Why do the rear wheels look like they are too far forward in the arches? Oval wheels would fix that, as long as you park with them in the right place every time, otherwise it would look even worse 🤣🤣

Please tell me that the raised rear numberplate has oil, nails, and smoke dispensers behind it.

It was big on the outside and small on the inside, the complete opposite of what you want and generally useless in every way. Each to their own, I did 39,000 miles in one last year, I found very comfortable, easy to drive and park, no visibility problems, boots big enough for me (you can always fold the rear seats down) and I don't sit in the back. Also good on fuel and ultra reliable, as a daily driver it's spot on. As for the slammed one, not my thing, but I appreciate the effort put into it
