It’s basically a visa/ Peugeot 205 front with a van rear. I’m confident a 205 wheel boss would fit

It’s basically a visa/ Peugeot 205 front with a van rear. Bit like this then. Perhaps I should put that in the "cars you never knew existed thread" The Visa diesels and GTis were four stud IIRC. I was once given a dead 205 diesel that had power steering and thought it would be a great exercise to fit it to my first C15 van as the Pepperpots did make the steering a bit heavy. I carefully removed all the necessary bits and pieces one day but found that the column was different enough to mean I would need to source a P/S C15/Visa column. I then found out that the top mounts on the front struts had both seized and the coil springs were winding when the wheels turned. So I fitted the struts from the 205 instead and the van felt like it had power steering after that anyway.

The Visa diesels and GTis were four stud IIRC. You recall correctly. 4x108, 66mm centrebore.

A friend of mine ended up with one of these around this time last year, ended up getting rid after a few months but not after cutting the springs and fitting some 17x7.5 Peugeot steels

Still looking into wheel boss kit after RR member suggested Peugeot 205 and apparently there were two variants and as my Citroen C15 is 2002 it was suggested the later Peugeot wheel boss from 205 would be the one / anyone know more about this and fitment ?

Might be a diesel but having taken off the strangulation device known as the air filter box it was on with a generic induction kit formed from an alloy section from one fleabay seller and generic cone filter from another. Whether it produces any more power doesnt matter / its not a speed demon and at best it ll breathe that bit easier. One thing about modifying an old retro is there aint no rule book / no hard and fast calculation as to will the rivet counters object nor is it going to help / hinder / improve performance / purely for fun and a little bit of differentology on a Friday afternoon. That is what non serious retro ownership is about for me !!!!! Had good fun fabricating a bracket to bolt to air filter using up bits n bobs left over from earlier window winder job.

Back in the early 90's I was in the Malvern Theatre Players and the guy who ran it had a petrol one of these. He used it to pull a 24ft twin axle flatbed trailer, usually loaded up with bits of theatre scenery, along with about 5 or 6 passengers. And Malvern ain't flat....

Thats a great testament to the fact they are a willing work horse when needed Diesel aint the quickest but it sure sounds interesting with its new additions and as a cheap fun project not to be taken serious so far its delivered. Why have normal when for less you can be individual

Nothing that stands out thats big / brash or otherwise but the end result is nigh on straight through exhaust that just burbles around town but livens up if you hit the gas pedal and its all just a bit of cheap retro fun nothing too serious
