i am painting the mini, and i did the door on it today. its come out orange pealy,
i have mixed it as on the mixing cup
4-1 paint to hardener, then added some thinners.
should that be 2-1?
when they say its 4 to 1, is it 4- 2 -1?
thanks

What does the manufacturer's data sheet say? The paint supplier should give you that on request.
4-1, 2-1 and 4-2-1 are very different ratios.

As above the manufacturer needs to tell you how it should be mixed, usually 2K paint is 2:1.
If you want it to flow out nicely you also need to add some 2K thinners to it as well, i've found 5-10% seems to work well for me.

Hi, Did you get the appropriate paint mixing stick for the relevant product from the supplier? They are graduated with the ratios for the primer/paint, hardener and thinners. The ratios differ between products. Colin
