I don't know why, but the search function always fails when I try to find this thread: 3 spokes - future classic or forever chav?I tried several key words like chav, spokes, forever, future, classics,... it just won't come up in the results?! Maybe it's because I'm on an old xp computer? The number of websites refusing to work properly is growing, but had no problems on RR so far. edit: when I finally suceed in manual search I can't answer or bookmark it, because I'm logged out automatically. So I can not just click on my above link - I will be logged out when I do so.

Why I bothered I do not know as I have a deep dislike for the things. Finds it on page 5 because so bloody old using Where thread title contains spokes Results as threads

using Where thread title contains spokes Results as threads That's what I did, too - not found. Not with chav, not with future, nor any other words I mentioned above. The word chav can't be used that often. edit: in fact it can be. I did notz realize that the original post was from 2004 !So it does appear on page two of the chav search results. So thank You Darkspeed for pointing this out!

Well - when you discover how you have done it let me know how you have managed to remove a thread from your view as there are quite a few I would like to add to that sort of list.

Problem solved it seems.
But You can bookmark threads as read forever, maybe that helps.

Sorry, some of Your answers collided with my editing. So, the miracle why I get logged out after finding it, ist still unsolved. But at least I now can find it and bookmark it for later use. edit: even now, after Darkspeed bumped the thread out of its dusty corner onto page one (thanks for that), I still get logged out, when I click on it.

Changed the title, as I have another search issue, but don't want to start a new thread, since it isn't really a retro mobile topic, only a topic some RR user mentioned as a side note.
It was a hint given to him, that he might suffer from an adult version of ADHS.
Now I wanted to look that up again, but failed in searching with the key words ADHS, ADS, hyperactivity or hyperactive, although I'm sure these were mentioned in his post.
It's not so long ago that I read that post (max 3 months), but I'm not sure how old that post might have been actually.
Does anybody else remember having read this?

Aaargh, and there was me thinking the S in ADHS was for syndrome!
Thanks for the hint, I tried ADHD and also ADD after that, but still no sucess, it seems, the post I read might have been deleted meanwhile.

Thanks a lot for the support, jimi, I was able to find these, but the wanted post wasn't among them, I didn't explain that properly.

Hi, surprisingly, I think I can answer this logging out part of the problem. You're searching on the present '.org' board and the thread is on the old '.com' board, so you're changing to an archive site.
Have you tried searching on google or using the search box at the top, and putting retrorides in front of the search words?

I thought the address change was way back around 2016/7 ? Not that it should matter, normally redirects are put in place to take care of this. I'd be surprised if a new site was started, I've been involved in a few similar moves and normally everything is transferred to maintain the history/continuity of the site/forum. Most times there's no outward sign of change. Perhaps HoTWire could clarify ?
