Looking to get a lightweight low entry trolley jack. 1.5 ton will be fine. Any brands to avoid or go for?
SealeyRJAS1500 seems to be coming up the cheapest

I bought one of these back in October  It’s aluminium and steel construction. Not used it loads but it fits under the axle of my Escort with 13” wheels, 60 series tires and Atlas, no problem. It feels a damn bit lighter than the steel 3 tonne jacks my brother uses in his garage. |

I have one that looks identical this other than the branding. I suspect they all come out the same chinese factory.
Mines survived about 5 years of abuse so far and I cant fault it. I would like it to be just slightly lower entry as sometimes its not quite low enough.
I have seen some that have a step down on the very front say 200mm of the jack before swan necking back up. They may be worth a look as well.

Other than the wheels being nylon on my "Blue Point" jack, that looks identical! Benny's Custom Works uses the same item too! So it must be good and reliable  They arent super low entry, but they are capable of 2.5ton, whereas the other ones are only 1.25 usually |

To follow this up, I bought the halfords alloy low entry one. Got it with a trade discount for £100. Very nice kit and handy halfords guarantee.

Check out SGS’s current offerings.
I think they do a few low entry jacks, and an ultra low one.
All the SGS stuff I’ve bought is good quality and always happy with the price.
Super fast delivery too.
