Thoughout my car loving past, I always focused on just one primary feature that made me obsessed. Beetle, engine in the rear. Toyota Camry estate, Dual rear wipers. XR3i MK3/4, Gorgeous green LED digital clock. Maserati BiTurbo, Antique looking solid gold clock in the dash. SAAB 900, keys in centre console (perfect for left handers) My favorite, although only available in the states was this Too cool for school. What other cars had just one feature that made you go 'oooooohhhh' ?

My mum likes to remind me now and again how "wip wipes" (wipers) on headlights blew my mind when I was 5 years old! They're still cool on any car right....

Has to be the digital dash on the Opel Monza GSE. My 1st Monza was an “E” with the analogue dash, I longed for the digital dash and eventually ended up with two! Funny thing, whilst trying to find an image of the dash I found this......awesome!

The tailgate handle on my falcon wagon is quite a good one, I’ve always thought it’s kinda neat but other people absolutely lose their minds over it.

There is always something that attracts me to a car. VW bug and bus: that engine sound. Also the looks of an early bug can't be beaten. Rover P6 I bought at 21 as it was the only V8 I could insure Morris Minor - that exhaust 'fart' when they change gear. Mercedes 560SEL - the combination of brown velour interior and unburstable quality and refinement.

The flux capacitor, which as everyone in the world knows is what makes time travel possible! Only to find after buying one, it’s not a standard fitment item 😀 No seriously though, it was that stainless finish, nothing else quite like it.

Yes, you wind the window down into the tailgate to then be able to drop the tailgate like a pickup one would.
You can just make out the key slot in the middle of the handle to lock it.

From a young age I always loved a car with a sliding door. I always thought how cool it must be to drive with your door open. I still think that it is the coolest thing ever! Easy pleased am I?

The very idea of an automatic gearbox. I was aware of them from a young age, but assumed you had to move the T-shaped lever yourself, albeit without the inconvenience of a clutch. It was only when our Marina died a few days before the family holiday and my dad had to hire a Cortina 2.3 auto, that I realised the car actually changed gear by itself. Blew my mind.
Also, 4 headlights - makes anything cool, right?
