Vauxhall Victor with 4.2 quattro

In 1994 I was lucky enough to find a new bodyshell. It had been in a barn since the 60's. Apparently it was going to be for rallying but was never used. It had a few small dents and the seams were starting to weep but it was a good price, it just needed to be used for something special.


Now forward to 2013;

We try and build our customs differently and as always trying to think outside the box. This Victor is no exception. A very low mileage 2004 Audi S6 4.2 V8 quattro was used as the donor.


Body modifications included a subtle 40mm roof chop, a 2 door conversion, extended bonnet and front wings and wider wheel arches to accommodate the wider audi track and wide wheels.

Interior changes included fitting the audi seats retrimmed in beautiful red leather and complimented with the Audi dash. Bespoke door cards to match the seats.

Air conditioning
Heated electric seats with electric lumbar support
Tiptronic automatic gearbox with paddle shift.

Touch screen Pioneer radio with music streaming, USB connection and Bluetooth for a phone.

The entire wiring loom was used from the Audi, it even has the OBD port for diagnostic reports. The car can even be booked in with a local Audi dealer if so desired.
On the road it's wonderful, quiet and effortless and happy to cruise sedately but changes into a beast when in sport mode with a surprising roar from the 8 cylinders.

Even though the donor car a 2004 Audi S4 had only covered 57,000 miles the engine was stripped down and new genuine Audi timing chains and guides installed. Everything was then cleaned checked and rebuilt. All transmission oils and filters renewed.

The air conditioning was overhauled with a new condensor and compressor.
