I have got a fair bit of weld grinding to do in really tight corners, mostly door frames etc. I have a dremel type tool but no die grinder. What is everybody using to clean these up?
Thanks

Currently various shape carbide burrs and flap wheels. Keep meaning to invest in a finger sander though as they look handy.

Have you seen the toy tool sets for three year olds? The ones that have a plastic saw, bendy screwdriver and a drill with a motor sound? That's what a Dremel is compared to a die grinder and a carbide burr.

I use a die grinder with a carbide burr, still not as quick as a grinder and not so easy to control but it's about the best I have found.

The best thing is to have a selection so you can call on them as required.

Finger sander / power file / whatever you wanna call it, is my tool of choice for welds in things like door frames.
It won't quite get into the places that a die grinder might, but it works for most situations and is cheaper than a good die grinder and is something I generally find useful for other bits of detail sanding / filing.

I agree, I use a Black and Decker one, I think its a KA900E and I buy the zirconia belts for it off e-bay.
Its really good for getting into the tight corners.
