I think the black is a big improvement over the grey. I'm not sure if body colour might be an even better option but the Red and Black combination is tried and tested. Was wondering if it would look better with the bumper black as well. The back bumpers and steps are grey/black

I missed out on those wheels unfortunately. Am currently watching a cool set of toyota 4 spokes that would do the job.

There's one of these for sale near me for not too much money, and it's had all the welding done.
Don't think I could resist beating it with the lowering stock though...what's the suspension setup look like on these?

Went for these in the end. 15x7 with a zero offset originals are 14x5.5 or 6 from what I can tell with an offset of 50 so these should sit quite nicely hopefully. Going to offer them up and then decide on tyres. Will be 195 or 205 wide depending on clearance. Cant see it being an issue with that offset though.

Looks like I won't have much trouble at stock height but will have to be careful of the body work if I lower it. Maybe the 3 inch lowering blocks I looked at aren't the best idea 🤔

Just had a measure up and the rears sit in the arches around 60/65mm so should be fine the fronts are only tucked in around 55/60mm. Will have to go for the narrowest tyre i can get away with on the 7 inch rim and go from there. Might be a case of needing to find a 6.5 for the front or a different offset at some point.

From what I can work out online the front can just be wound down then lowering blocks for the rear. Not got that far yet. Need to wait for my wider wheels and tyres to see what room I have.

Got the wheels. They sit OK and clear everything but have about 24mm poke front and back need to find out what the narrowest tyre I can get away with is. The rims are 15x7 standard tyres were 185/80/14 Closest match i can see is 195 70 15 c Not sure if I would get away with a little bit of stretch on a van. Probably not worth the risk. Can always add some little arches at some point If I get any grief.

These look great. Personally I would get a meaty tire on it and stay away from the stretch. You use this for regular work duties right?
If there's no rubbing but too much poke then do as you mention and put some slimline arches on it.

Or a 225/60 is close rolling radius wise

Theres a full set of as new falkens local to me for 150 in 215/65/15 so that’s probably the size decided. Theses easy wider things look like they could be a good shout. Bond on and actually cover the arch lip

Picked up the tyres and dropped the lot off to be fitted today. 215/65/15c 1.2% out from the original hopefully will be ok. Absolute steal at £120 for 4 falken commercial tyres and they show virtually no wear. Be surprised if its more than a couple of hundred miles on them. Off to Spain for a week tomorrow so unlikely to get them on till I'm back home.

New Wheels are on, front right clips the airbox guard at full lock and the side doors hit the back wheels. Drives well though. Will probably need to find some 20/30mm arch lips to keep it legal. Picture upload button seems to have disappeared for some reason.
