Slightly strange heading for this thread but I wasn't sure how best to word it, (alternatives welcomed!)
It's something I think of a fair bit for my own project and the recent OEM wheels video got me thinking to see what you guys knew of?
To clarify what I mean, what cars use parts from factory that we can also consider aftermarket? Such as say, the Mk1 MX5/Eunos using a Momo steering wheel as standard equipment. You can buy the "aftermarket" version, or you could save a few quid and buy the exact same wheel albeit with a Mazda horn-push or what have you.
Also Recaro Confetti's from JDM 90's cars. Can be bought as a standalone piece or you could pinch a factory pair from a wrecked Supra (which I did many years ago for £50).
Any examples you can think of?

Peugeot have used momo wheels and knobs, morette headlamps as dealer accessories, quite a few now do akrapovic exhausts.

Thought they were all just aftermarket rather than dealership available. Recaro fishnets in ignis sports They are one of the best OEM+ seats of the last few years I reckon. Probably down to the retro vibes.

Subaru Impreza/Mitsubishi Evo/RalliArt all had Momo steering wheels.
Might be wrong on this but the Proton Evo Coupe looked like it came with Momo Arrows as standard.
Citroen Saxo had an option of Speedline 2108 wheels (14" i think)

The Abarth Grande Punto had a 'Winter pack' option of Speedline 17" alloys, thinner than the standard (Ronal) 'horseshoe' wheels. Also, Brembo four-pot calipers up front, and Brembo 18" alloys for the Esseesse version.

Lots of manufacturers use aftermarket suppliers for parts they don’t manufacture everything in house. As mentioned the steering wheel on my Impreza is Momo, the nb Mazda mx5’s used Nardi steering wheels instead of the na using momo. Recaro’s probably make a lot more seats than people realise, back in the 90’s I bought a bread and butter cavalier LS with standard seats in it. Upon giving it a good clean out one day I noticed a load of recaro labels under the seat bases. Alloy wheels many manufacturers use many aftermarket wheel brands to make or supply the wheels. Enkei supplied Subaru at least with later new age STI wheels, also BBS wheels on 22b, s203, s204 etc
As mentioned in the oem wheels thread original lotus esprit had wolfrace slot mags. Wolrace sonic wheels were also used on fiesta xr2, capri 2.8i, early 80’s MG metro and I believe but could be wrong without checking the Triumph Acclaim Avon turbo. Hella make or made lights for many brands, a lot of stereo head units are made by other brands for example my Impreza original hu is kenwood.

Found another thing yesterday, it appears that quite a few MG's use a pretty decent looking set of AP Racing calipers, Some MG TF brakes I found on ebay can be had for less than £300. Reckon these would be a good and cheap upgrade for something more interesting!
