Not much been happening, still waiting for many, many parts. Also been difficult getting into the Volcano Lair because we had an infestation of these little beggars, they're 0.2mm long and can get through just about any clothing. They're hay itch mites and they get everywhere and you really do not want to bring them home.
That give you these hickeys that itch like crazy. The quack says I must be allergic to being allergic to get them this bad.
As Screwfix does not do full NBC suits these painters overalls had to do while I moved last seasons hay and set off the permethrin bombs. We gave the hay to a local people that feed disabled deer from road accidents.
While we're talking deer we've taken on another field for hay because feed is going the be tight this winter and sheep can live on hay alone. They prefer feed like I prefer bacon sarnies to salad. So when we took it over there has been the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good - storm damaged oak. From this
to the space vacated by the itchy hay with at least another four/five pallets to be filled
The Bad - I saw a brown coat in a hollow halfway down the field. Resting deer? No didn't move, got closer, it was a dead doe that had failed to give birth to a breech presentation.
The Ugly - having to tow her to the undergrowth on the far boundary and leave her for the foxes and crows.
Back to turbines and through the grapevine I've had a sniff of one of these that I'm trying to track down. It's a ground running panel and they're like poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo unless anyone knows where I can get one. Some obsessive will have one and this obsessive wants it.
