Part of my latest Ill thought out purchase, is a pair of cheapy mamba bucket seats, been stored outside for years, but scrubbed up quite well. Problem is they have faded badly, they're covered in a fleece type material, Any suggestions for best ( cheapest ) products to dye them back to dark grey/black Ttfn Glenn

Many years ago I had a Cortina Estate that had horrid blue cloth seats. I just used rattle can black to change their colour. Many light coats to ensure it soaked in thoroughly. Did the carpets the same way as well but resorted to proper vinyl paint for the door trims.

Trying the vinyl paint, didn't go very far, will give it some time to see how it fares If seems ok, will get another can and give the seats a second going over Ttfn Glenn

I'm pretty sure it was just a Duplicolour can of cellulose black paint that I used.

I've de-faded black carpets with an ordinary tin of automotive matt black.
