Wheels and tyres all fitted up today Well pleased with how she looks now    I especially like the rear angle views Dan. Certainly transforms the whole staid look of the car. And weirdly, the silver on silver to me absolutely works. Good job. |

And I’ve said it some many times the W202 is a far better car than the 190E mercs I’ve had

Some 20-25mm spacers in the rear possibly to place them in the arches like at the front?

That looks great. I'd love to do the same for my W202 but they would be destroyed instantly with tyres of that profile with the amount of unavoidable potholes where I live. I've already gone through two alloys on a Mondeo I had and two alloys on a Laguna that were fitted with much higher profile tyres than those. I'd be scared to get it out the drive!!!
Are they available in a smaller diameter so that higher profile tyres could be fitted?

Really impressed with those wheels - and hugely surprised to see they are actually pretty good value for money too.
I thought they were those remanufactured three-piece splits at first (which I'm assuming was their intention). Are they two-piece or single? I guess you can also swap they tyres on these without the hassle of splitting the barrels like on those early three-piece ones...?

I’m just enjoying this car so much, sometimes a car just fits Nothing since my last 1600E cortina in 1990 has come anywhere near this car My old. W202 250TD was as great but this car just fits me perfectly Owned more cars than I care to remember but I can’t explain what it is that makes me smile every time I drive this motor…different strokes for different folks ??  |

Call me biased but I'm honestly not. They are a darn good car and underrated imo. Hey, Dan what about shocks to match the new springs? Are you a tad low in the rear? If so just go up to a thicker spring pad. Keep up the good work and we'll all be watching to see if keep those new wheels clean  |
