it was ..... year 2005 i found from internet that Teardrop Trailer is funny little thing what i could make too before that time i didnt know anything about TT and in Estonia there was no info or any sign that somewhere is one. i had no experience with caravans or camping or making trailers why not. so it began from frame what was earlier inside glass panel transport van  leaf spring axle  adapter for different PCD wheels  all plywood walls  front cabinets  galley area  sideview with dim.  |

first time on wheels and outside reason is because garage is too low and roof plywood cant put on there - so lets work outside cold snow winter  first layer  and second layer glued on it  |

how to make mudguards ? make template from gypsum / plaster on top old tire then make fiberglass mold on template and then make fiberglass fender in the mold easy     subframe for fender attached to axle so fender is moving up and down with wheel not wheel under fixed fender  half inch cap between fender and tire  |

MOT / TÜV / registration day started around October 2005 ? and registration was May 2006 not really ready but enough to make it official    |

first trip same month but now with windows  second trip and now with painted fenders and little peek to galley it was all so basic  |

few trips here and there fender frame broke after that we made new frame same shape but heavier metal  some minor damage inside fender  |

after some years and many trips here and there like this  after rain, sun, wind and snow  after 6 years there was end of my teardrop 1.0    |

why i almost killed my trailer ? because there was some design flaws and lack of maintenance and ... i wanted something better there was no ventilation, no insulation in walls, no electrics, no fridge, i did not recoated plywood with varnish and the wood started turn black  |

yes there was plan to make it alive again
so my teardrop was going to be ver. 1.2
i wanted to have fridge where milk and sandwich ham stay fresh more than day or two
i wanted some lights inside and outside plus some sockets for charge cellphone
i wanted more efficient insulation
i wanted windows and sunroof that can be opened - ventilation
....
but use same frame, same numbers and same documents so the whole build is just makeover

so the dimensions are same as old one was
floorplan also
cabinets infront
then bed on floor - longitudinal
and one bunk bed across lower bed on leg area
rear galley
in old version we slept first years with 2 adults and one kid
couple years later already 2 adults and 2 kids
now both kids are big enough that we cant fit all inside trailer
so side-tent is in the menu too

lets build it now from outside in 1mm anodized aluminium sheet coping / drawing frame lines to aluminium  Sikaflex glue  roof is glued and riveted    galley hatch   |
