	Hi Everybody While waiting for the completion of my 1988 2cv Dolly Plums and Custard which has now spent about 9 months at the bodyshop my mate bought a 1970 2cv van so decided to sell this old girl and I couldn't say no to owning 2 of these wonderful little moneypits. It has had a decent renovation in recent years and drives 100% spot-on unlike my other example that spits itself out of third gear and keeps revealing more and more body shell resto work requirements....... It runs electronic ignition but otherwise is pretty much standard other than a heated rear screen and 12v socket.

	Cracking car and condition. 😎 What’s the story with the front & rear bumpers? I’ve had a couple of these, the below I restored and several years later saw it on a back of a trailer near to where I work, quite a distance from where I sold it! Small world.

Hi I don't know about the bumpers, it was in a bump a few years ago and either someone had these lying around or really liked them...... I'm not so sure?

So far she has had : £500 welding £1800 of paintwork £1500 of panels and parts Old cars are a labour of love !!!!

This one needs the usual welding, new seat pads/ springs and an oil leak looking at. It'll never be a show queen but it'll hopefully be a useable summer daily.

	A lovely special and I rather like Neil's example. This is mine, a 1986 Dolly, one of the first Dolly's into the country and rsre colour scheme that was soon dropped in favour of red and white. The rear end tin was replaced by Driving Spirit of Amering, near Brighton early this year.
