I'm looking for a Volvo 240 aluminium fuel metering device bottom half (the part that the air intake connects to) for my Saab/ Ford V4 K-Jet conversion project. It's the part that sits below the words "Air Flow" in this picture: ( Image source) Although I have no use for the other parts I'll take a complete fuel metering/ distributor assembly to save someone the hassle of taking it apart. EDIT: here are some better photos of the part I need. ( Image source)

They're pretty rare and were a favourite way of fitting a remote cone filter to K-jet equipped Vw's years ago.Just sealed the airbox with the rubber surround from an air filter and fitted some corrugated tubing to cold air source and a generic cone filter on the end. There is a specialist Volvo breaker near the Black Cat roundabout, Wyboston, Bedfordshire. www.lakes4volvo.co.uk/ They've been breaking Volbvo's for about 60 years. Car SOS got some p1800 bits there for a project a few years back. I believe they're still there as I drive past them every now and again if I go out east to Cambs/Suffolk etc.

I was just about to say back in the day the VW scene loved these for a quick K-jet mod instead of the massive plastic airbox...
I would of though classic Volvo brakers/part suppliers would be your best bet

Didn't know they were popular with the VW crowd, but that's exactly what I need it for. I was going to fit the plastic VW filter box, but I don't really have the space in my Saab 96, and I do have a spare K&N cone filter I got with some other parts 10 years or so ago. Thanks for the link duggers .
