My 1927 Ford Model T roadster pickup has a Ford Pinto engine replacement. I need to install both a Water Temp gauge and Oil Pressure gauge. The wiring diagram shows that the sensors for both oil pressure and water temperature were combined into dash warning light as one wire.
I see both sensor senders on the engine (drivers side rear) and the 2 into one wiring that sent the signal to the dash warning light. Ford manual says the uppermost sensor is oil pressure and the sensor 3 inches below is water.
Ideally I'd like to use the present sensors and their wires individually to send signals to an electric oil pressure gauge and an electric water temperature gauge.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
