You know when you have a project car, you then see something else come up and you buy that project car so you have two project cars? And then something cool is too local to pass up, so you ask yourself that "when is another car going to come up at a good price this close to my house!?" as if that sort of justifies buying it? Well yeah, that happened, so now I have three project cars. I have been a grown up though, and decided that this one is not staying.... we'll see.
Welcome to my 1992 Volkswagen Corrado 1.8 G60! As you can see, it's not a bad little car! It does needs some bits, (rear light, splitter etc) but all in all, it's a great car that runs and drives!
Plans are to give it a proper clean and mop, get some fresh fuel in it, give it a service, tyres and MOT and then let someone else enjoy it.
It was a track car at some point in it's life, so it has a cage, buckets and harnesses and has been stripped. The bits are in good condition but it would be so much nicer with a carpet and door cards reinstated. Have only owned it 48hrs but have sourced and bought most of the bits it needs, will update and probably advertise for sale over the next couple of weeks.
