I have owned this car for 8 years and it has been used and enjoyed at weekends only. I converted the engine myself quite soon after buying the car and over the years I have completed many repairs and improvements. The car has been extremely reliable and fun to drive to the point it has been driven to Scotland amongst other destinations.
The speedo pod was replaced at the time of the engine conversion so the car has a high mileage but the engine had only 115k at the time of installation, pretty much everything mechanical has either been replaced or improved over the years. Gearbox was retained as the rod change 020 as the mk3 box felt horrible in comparison, this 020 has none of the 2nd gear crunch or whines.
Bodywork is ok but showing 30 years worth of patina . It was built primarily to be driven and enjoyed but now it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
