Anyone ever imported a car from Iran?

This is interesting…please share if you find out a way.
I managed to import some Peugeot spares last year but it was a bit sketchy to be honest. I too want to bring a car back if a way can be found.
I want a silver 206 sedan made there…left field but that’s what I am after.

Yes but not in very many countries…plus they are expensive for my plans. Iran seems to be where they are mostly..

You would think that there would have been one brought over..alas it seems not!

I've had conversations with PaykanHunter about this. As far as I remember it would be very difficult as I think there was a pretty much random 'valuation' you'd have to pay which could be many times the car's actual worth and I'm not sure you could get official export documents that would allow registration of something once here. I think the only Paykan in the UK is the one in the Coventry museum though its possible there was another that Sam Glover may have owned/known about but that hit registration buffers.


Edit: The Coventry Paykan when it was in the V&A exhibition just before the pandemic really hit.
