As with most forums……
I suspect the guests and background readers are the majority of traffic on here.
I was thinking that there has to be a good chance that many of ypu have awesome rides and builds.
So why not share a bit of info or a pic or twenty of what you are doing or own.
Hope that makes sense.
The rest of us are sure to enjoy a bit of variation.

90% of them will be googlebots / web spiders to help make forum posts top of web search results.
That's why the view counts are massive compared to reply counts.

OK.
In which case I guess we can just have this thread sink or deleted even.
I don’t understand how it works behind the scenes.

The word you are looking for is Lurkers.
Google bots won't be counted by the proboard stats. That really is the number of people that view the site. About 7k unique users a day on average.

I sit corrected. My posts must be more boring than I thought then for that many to view them but not comment.

Mostly I lurk on here now as I haven't got anything retro in my ownership currently, but here's a couple of pics of my main car (ignore the J plate, it's registered 2000 so originally an X plate).

I probably fit into the lurker category. I have never owned a retro but always loved them, and especially those on this forum. I tend to read and not contribute because I always forget my password. My car energy is largely focused on my van conversion, a not-so-retro 2012 Ford Transit
I don't seem to be able to upload right now (some one-drive issues) but will provide a few pictures for the hell of it

That would be the word, despite knowing it was wrong I had hoped to see some activity from some of those builders who blow our minds regularly at shows. Lets hope a few do share. Fresh blood is good.

I've got nothing worthy of the forum, A dull as dishwater T5 camper, Nissan Elgrand, VW Up!, Husqvarna Enduro bike and a Triumph Sprint RS sport-ish bike.

I guess this is a good way to introduce myself, but I own no cars- nothing. Nada. Don't even have a licence, but I'll occasionally post on various threads where relevant. As you were.

I'm not a bot, but I definitely fall into the lurker category. I'm a very regular reader and I want to say I'm in awe of some of the skill visible in many of the threads on here. One of my current favorites is the XK120 rebuild, for obvious reasons. This is mine, but I'm afraid its not real, its a replica from Nostalgia and took me 3 years to build. Now I just get to enjoy driving it. The Lotus is undergoing a very slow restoration. A year after buying it I got around to removing the engine last week. Now I'm looking for someone to rebuild it.
