No welding goggles or any googles, cutting burning welding with sandals on. Must be brave or idiots, i know which one my money is on. Credit where credits due though, a good repair from potentially scrap, Norman

norman ive welded for years in sandles flip flops my mate bought me flip flops with steel toe caps which are made for the aussy newzeland market  |

It took me longer than that to get an engine to transmission bolt for my 911!

Hi Owen, Your a brave man welding with those on. I remember years ago i was welding a trailer, i had stopped for my tea then went back to finish it off wearing slippers. Yes a molten lump of metal dropped onto my slipper burning through that and my socks which led to me jumping around trying to get them off before i got severely burned. I have never done that again, lesson learned.

I’ve seen similar done in Karachi, the parts/spares shops are absolutely unbelievable, they do make anything and everything work, real hidden skills
