It would be nice to meet you too, but the Cortina’s in no state to travel that distance with the carbs in the state of tune they are sadly.

I think mine is even less likely to make it (so I'm going in the modern) as its being chopped into ever smaller bits!

I think mine is even less likely to make it (so I'm going in the modern) as its being chopped into ever smaller bits! Ive got one like that! Currently learning how to construct a 1970 1300 deluxe out of sheet steel......😳 Can’t really complain, it did come as one of those ‘if you take it away, it’s yours!’ Deals😀

Well, I made it up to the Cortina National at Stratford today - not in the Cortina as it's in bits. Took a few pics:- Very tidy 4door GT in a rather unusual shade Pre-airflow with a different twin cam A long distance visitor A Cortina 440 all the way from Oz. A more regular twin cam but not in its usual home. Custom woody A gathering of Lotuses A very tidy late Lotus One of the visitors - mild custom Consul Capri - check out the hub-caps. Some more obscure Fords - Thames mini-bus and Mk2 Zodiac With all the shiny restored cars - this stood out for me! and from the front Smart Anglebox van in FoMoCo parts livery Lotus powered Anglia Still retaining its creature comforts Lovely Mk2 GT 2 door - perfect. 4 door Mk2 GT in a great period colour A gathering of Lotuses And a few purchases - for a change I actually managed to find stuff I needed - some uprated strut top mounts, some straighter rear bumper brackets, a spare wheel bracket and some interior sill trims as I'm thinking about putting some carpet and comforts into the interior. Enjoy

Cool pics. I bet that NA Cosworth mk1 a blast to drive. I’ve seen the dark green mk2 GT in the flesh and it’s absolutely stunning.
