No 4: the new kid in the fleet a 1975 Opel Blitz with a long chassis , an UK built alloy box on the back, first was a furniture transporter then a Racecar transporter from some mates with DKW Juniors in and on the back till they stopped racing in 99 and left the Blitz in their garden till qwe struck a deal with them in 2019 it has had a lot of TLC adding a door in the side now converted to a Senator 3,0 EFi engine a 5 speed coming next week, the pictures speak for themselfs. As purchased after surviving the elements for 20 years 3,0 EFI Senator engine conversion Nearly rustfree cab replacing rotten old one very diffcult to find parts we have bought several donors for the parts Now repainted and stickers on it based on the Surtees racing livery with the new door fitted and all the gadgets fitted inside and out. First action at Spa with the A35 in the back and the Caravan on the back.

Not strictly a van, but I used it as one ( took out the back seat and put in a plywood floor) And before the Escort I had this 127 Fiorino.

And before the Escort I had this 127 Fiorino. Ex-PTT? No, it was just a regular plain white Fiorino when I got it. A buddy of mine painted it black for me, and we put stripes on it.

Hi all, just some news from the valley of tears, you have seen the news of what happened to us all here with all the horror. We have been busy saving our own place from the torential rain and floods then helping others like supplying elderly people with water, food and medicine in remote or cutoff areas of the Eifel, helping people salvage some things from the their ruined houses and garages, steam cleaning places after removing 10 cm of mud, supplying water for cleaning, pumping out cellars with our generators and pumps, getting JCB from other areas to help move the rubbish, we had to get fuel for all these things from far away. We now have water / power etc since Sunday other villages still have nothing. I am currently sitting in our Westy working from a hill as it has wifi. Family friends neighbors have all lost something one more one less. Our Range Rover and Transit have seen a lot of action and keep on running with supply service. Now we have to order stuff from 200 miles away. All the garages at the Nürburgring r changed to shelters for people and the Paddock is a supply area for the affected areas not far away. Regards from the Eifel

After being safe and the family and friends are accounted for and u then have to wait 5 days to enter your house as u r evacuated due to the dam that may break. There is nothing like the feeling when you go into your garage and find that your beloved classic has stood 1,2 m in the muddy water and the engine has not just got 4 litres of oil in it but an 5 L of water and you have not even fired it up yet as it was only fitted recently the car taking 5 years to rebuild. I will not post any pictures from my friends car.

Those floods really were awful, I'm glad that you are ok.
It must be heartbreaking to have all your stuff damaged but at least you are well and can hopefully bounce back.

Late '90s this Mk 2 Renault Espace took over towing duties from the Magenta. until comparatively recently. Now use a 'modern' Suzuki Vitara. The Magenta Kitcar was sold to a guy who scrapped it for the Capri parts.. by the early 2000s Capris were starting to make big money.... full circle..!! I built the kitcar from Mk 1 Capris that were terminally rotten in the '80s
