Would like to share my Corona project iam working on since December last year.
Dreamed about creating my own car since years but never trusted my skills. After a couple of Jaguar E-types in my live i had a car with the spirit of the 60s in my mind.
Clearly influenced but not a copy or a replica. After analysis what i liked and what was not my cup of coffee i started with one of my cars i use now.
Have 2 MX5 MK2 , one already restored and one waiting to be . Like the handling of this light cars, for me the closest thing to a vintage car, small , light but with nice handling, reliable and a lot of options to tune and make it special.
Never done a project like this i bought a couple of panels from different cars having details i like and i would use as a starting point.
Thinking hard about details from classic cars i like and i would like to see on my car in a modified way.
So panels from Volvo P1800, hatch from E-Type fhc, lightpods and rear assemble from TVR Griffith and Tamora have been collected .
First i had to learn that not everything looking nice in my head was looking as well in real, so even i had a clear picture i had to change every detail , some even 7 times before i had a silly smile in my face.
Iam now about the middle of the project, design is going to be fixed now.
