Along with the Dremel I mentioned above ^^^ I also still have my Halfords Professional 1/2" socket set which I bought in about 1999. Nothing's ever broken and it all still works perfectly. The only thing that broke was the box but that's because I kept on opening it... I also like ALL my hammers. I originally had 4 or 5, but I inherited a fair few, and now have 18... I do have a favourite, which I refer to as "Clyde" the 2 1/2 lb lump hammer.

I've got a set of adjustable plumbing pliers with orange handles. By far and away the most useful tool I've got. Bending replacement panels. Holding them still from far enough away that I don't get sparks on my hands. Holding stuff dead still on the pillar drill without having to fart about with the vice (the extra leverage you get on the longer handles means they don't slip out of the jaws even if the drill catches).
Just really useful things.
I've also got a 13mm spanner that was made by Tang in Yugoslavia which I like mainly because it's form a place that doens't exist anymore, and also because it's a really good spanner. Oh, and the old monster SIP welder from back when SIP made good welders. All the instructions are in Italian but it's been fantastically useful.

I think water pump pliers is the posh name. Everyone else knows em as bodging pliers 😬 Mungers. Pronounced Munj-ers. ...are they used for munging? I'm a hack and a fraud, I can barely use a tool.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

1/2” drive Stanley socket set my Dad gave me about 30 years ago. It’s seen serious use and abuse and I’ve only broken one socket.
If I have to pick a single item, then my middle size ball pein hammer which I’ve had nearly as long. We’ve fought some big battles together.....

Yes, that's probably a better description . . . . I've always called these a finger sander No, for sanding my fingers I usually use the angle grinder for that . . . . .

18 hammers!!! I think you might have a problem😜 You can never have too many hammers I proably have somewhere around 100 😂 I filled the rack I made for them so I just got another 6 drawer roll-cab solely for hammers, dollies and chisels...

This scabby old screwdriver. I made it at school many years ago, I remember my teacher saying he was proud that it had been made in his class so I must have done a half decent job. It get used for everything, paint stirrer, chisel, rust poker, filler mixer, scraper, and authough its a mess, its never really got damaged by the chisel use and it ALWAYS undoes screws. Its a wonder its neer been lost or knicked. Its more like a pet now than a screwdriver.

Excalibur; the five foot breaker bar I made from the bar of some dumbells, an old 12" breaker bar, and some very agricultural welding. It's shifted many an overtightened wheelnut and quite a few hub nuts. It was only defeated by a Saab 900 hub nut which put a bit of a link in it.

Mine is my 1/2" long handled snap-on ratchet, it's basically a breaker bar sized ratchet. I've had it since I was an apprentice.

Have lots of favourite tools but this bench grinder deserves special mention, was given it as a present from my parents, about 30 years ago, ended up hardly ever being used when it had 2 grindstones fitted, some years ago swapped one stone for a wire wheel, now is in regular use and always reminds me of my parents Ttfn Glenn

I have several.
A lightweight - probably 2lb? - ball pein hammer that was my dad's but which I use regularly for most hammer jobs. Seen many replacement shafts which always get carved and slimmed down a little and then oiled or waxed. It's as much an item of art now as a tool but still gets used hard.
There's a very old, very smooth shanked 13mm - probably Draper - ring/open spanner that is half covered in white paint from being used as a stirrer sometime and the paint is very hard and won't come off! Been around forever and feels "just right" in the palm.
And up until recently I had a Park-Tool allen key multi-tool for using on my bicycles, which is (was) a lovely piece of kit - nothing special, only cost a tenner, but it hearkened back to when I was working at Halfords 15 years ago. it was taped to my DH bike which I took out a fortnight ago for the first time in forever and immediately lost the Parktool in the woods...

A ratchet crimper. Probably nearly 30yrs old? Sentimental value, and still working. Funnily enough The crimper is 20+ years old, the snips (best ones I've ever had) 15+ the Fluke is a spring chicken at around 7 years, I've used those tools (with some replacements) virtually every day for the last 30 years of my working life and still use them regularly in retirement. I have two older multimeters, another Fluke And Beckman and both still in use on a regular basis, also have a Type 7 Avo analogue multimeter.

I miss my old Dewalt grinder. I left it with my old man in the UK when I moved and the new AEG is just not the same. Current favourite is my air compressor. 50 quid in the charity shop for a proper old school belt drive unit. Love it.

My cross-head screwdriver is the one I always need. Given by my old man so it's my all time favourite!
