It might seem a strange recommendation but it's worth a watch for the cars and to see the RR V8's in action. The scene when the ambulance arrives is a classic and for us more mature members a reminder of the time when policeman were all 6 footers and built like the proverbial brick outhouse. Mercdan68 I think this might be right up your street. |

Thanks for sharing, we did have some harsh winters in the 70s, health and safety not really in existence then! You won’t find the police trying to pull a tanker out these days in two range rovers !

Great video, nice find.
I remember what 1979 looked like.
I was 7 and I think we had a MK3 Cortina, twin lights, vinyl roof metallic blue, might have been a GXL.

Excellent video. Even some Sunbeam Alpine action early on.  Spent many a happy hour tramping that motorway in all weathers. Winters were bloody awful and those Range Rovers certainly worked for their living! |
