I've just picked up a nice E39 Touring so I am offering my Accord Type R.
It was a Honda demo for a few months, then bought by a Doctor (with proof on the V5). I bought it off the man who bought it from the Dr in 2009.
I've just put it through its MOT where it had both front shock absorbers and springs replaced with sub 5k mile items, had both front top arms and O/S/F bottom ball joint replaced with new.
It has also had a full service in the last 500 miles - engine oil and filter, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm, pollen filters, brake fluid replaced etc. Again, with proof.
Very comprehensive/thorough proof of service history.
Covered 119k miles
No gear change or engine/gearbox issues at all.
It absolutely sings above 5500 revs.
Mechanical LSD, Recaro interior in remarkable condition.
Original Type R alloys are very clean with little to no marking/damage at all.
Tyres are Hankook Ventus V12 Evo with 6mm on the front and 4mm on the back.
I will only accept very close offers to the asking price for this.
I'd prefer to sell my motorbike instead of this so that'll be going up in the next week or so. If you would prefer to buy a nice NC29 CBR 40 RR instead, get in touch.
Just a couple of years ago there were plenty of these for sale; that is demonstrably not the case any more.
They're being held on to, and with good reason!
There is corrosion to O/S/R wheel arch; a brand new replacement arch section can be included in the sale.
