Just found this on the website for the local paper. The first Multi Storey Car Park built in Guildford - 1964. Some lovely old cars parked in there.....  Even an old Roller in there (well, it is Guildford  ) |

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

Great photo, look at all that space between the cars agreed Yeh the population has more than doubled since then. It gives you a bit less door room, my guess is particularly in towns like Guildford. |

The real reason for the seemingly generous amount of space between the parked cars is that they aren't stupidly huge and fat like all the new stuff today.
