Ive had my fair share of Impreza' over the years including Type RA's. These day i couldn't bring myself to spend the money they cost. I bought my first RA 8 years ago for just £1600 now you would be lucky to get one for £8K. With that in mind and always liking the Gen 1 Legacy i wondered if anyone on here owns one and how you find it to live with? I'm looking at a sedan rolling shell this week and I would be looking at dropping later Impreza Turbo engine in.

I owned a legacy outback 2.5 auto, drank petrol, burned oil a bit but was utterly dependable always. Sold it after a few years only because I had too many cars back then.

Had an estate many years ago.
Totally reliable with no major issues. Gave it to a mate with huge mileage on it. He ran it for another five years to my knowledge.

Thanks guys I'm actually looking to buy a rolling shell and swap the impreza turbo engine into it. HAving ppics sent today so may have made a deal by end of play today
