Anyone got a good rack for storing a 2nd set of wheels with tyres?
I would like one that goes on the wall but I would have to park the car under it, so worry slightly about the weight! Can imagine the whole thing come crashing down.
Interested to see what anyone else uses, or do you just stack them in a corner???

Success is mainly down to how you fix it to the wall. Need some decent anchor points as the loads can be pretty high.
Otherwise can be made out of all sorts. Seen them made from old dexion racking so that might be an option if you cant weld. One thing I'd suggest tho if you care about the tyres going on it make the bit the tyre touches not too sharp of an edge. Some 2inch tubing or somthing is probably best to spread the load otherwise the tyres come off with a groove in them after a few months.

I’ve seen some on eBay but they look a bit weedy, so was thinking of using unistrut to make one as welding is out.
Unless anyone on here fancy a commission to make one?

Get some used scaffolding, and build one Meccano style, dead easy and super strong, second hand stuff can be purchased cheaply.

One step up from scaffolding is to use Kee Clamps or Tube Clamps (I get mine from FHBrundle). Never made a tyre rack but used them for wardrobes, curtain rails, fencing, furniture! Found a picture on the internet.
