Due to a change in plans and the onward march of time I have decided sell the Vogue before I make a start on it. I have the V5C in my name and I have bought 2x donor vehicles to provide the materials for my planned conversion. I just can't buy time it would appear.
My intention was to strip it and change the running gear over to Mercedes SLK230 but work commitments and DVLA testing requirements mean that I don't fancy it and I don't want to cut up what is essentially (according to the guy I bought it from) a really good Vogue shell ( Boot floor below fuel tank is good and A and C Pillars are solid - apparently a really good sign)
It ran before I bought it but had the distributor and oil filter removed for some bizarre reason before I collected it. I now have them in my possession but haven't got around to getting it running - again, symptomatic of the reasons for selling. The head is also apparently cracked but there is a spare cylinder head with the car along with the required gasket sets.
There is also a good spare rear door - can't remember which side as I'm away at work but could find out if required.
I have had the registration number valued as well. Valuation from National Numbers was £3800 but I expect that is a bit optimistic. Lowest valuation was approximately £2250.
I am looking for £2000ono for the car and everything that goes with it (except the donor SLK's, which may be available under separate negotiations)
Car is near Norwich in Norfolk and I will be around to exchange towards the end of March. Earlier collection possible but will involve moving a very crusty, immobilized Mk1 Triumph off a trailer and extracting the Singer from it's storage space. My wife won't be up for that.
