As per the subject heading, I'm looking for suggestions for a material to use to make door panels. I don't want to use plywood, prefer a plastic of some kind - it will be trimmed. Also, a material to make arch liners from. I have gone to the scrappy to remove from there, but would prefer to start with new. It would only need to bend in one plane for what I'm thinking of. Thanks in advance. Neil

Don't know what's it's actually like, but I've been looking at Stokbord to make undertrays for the Herald.

I bought a sheet of 3mm stokbord. It will be perfect for arch liners for sure. Should be fine for my door trim backs too hopefully. Ferny, if you want a little bit to play with, pm me your address Neil

Ferny, if you want a little bit to play with, pm me your address Neil Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm going to grab a sheet and play! Where did you manage to get it from in the end. I'm looking to get some today in 3mm flavour but I'm finding that either the price double when you add it to your basket or there's a 10 sheet minimum order.

I got it from Solway Recycling. About £16 for a sheet of 3mm, then same again for delivery. It came rolled up, but has flattened out just fine

Cheers. That's where I originally was going to go, but when I add it to the basket the price shoots up. I'll call them Monday if I get time to hide from students on the first day back!

I thought their website was odd. The unit price is about £16 but somewhere free delivery was mentioned. I'm sue the £35 something was the delivered price
