As per the title, please can you guys give some advice on the best cleaning methods and procedures for cleaning old glass? Also, what's the best way to stop interior fogging up? Ordinarily I know I would turn the warm fan on but just like everything else on this car the OE fan died a while back. Is there an aftermarket warm air fan that might be usable? Pic for whoring purposes only.

Hi, Glass cleaning, all sorts of products on the market. If you want old school then methylated spirits in the water to wash the window and dry off with newspaper.
Condensation, this means there's water vapour in side the car so if you can avoid breathing it will help. Seriously though there's water inside probably in the carpets and as it warms up it condenses on the cold windows. Try putting a margarine tub half filled with rice in the footwell and it will soak up the water, when it gets saturated just nuke it in the microwave and put it back in the car. Salt will also work but I wouldn't use it in case there's an incident, you don't want wet salt in the carpet.

I bought some ‘anti fog glass clear’ in a pound shop a few years back. God knows what in it but it works brilliantly. Can really tell the difference once it’s been applied.

Thanks guys. I spent an hour with a razor blade type scraper which, apart from being incredibly tedious/boring, removed a surprising amount of crud. It had looked fairly clean at the start but there was clearly a few years worth of dirt, wax etc that had built up. Anyway, the difference was pretty remarkable really and definitely more than I'd expected. I'm going to apply the Rain-X tomorrow.
