Hi all, after a heater for a domestic garage, garage only has 2 external walls, a room above and only needs to bring it up a few degrees to do some paintwork. Garage is a single garage, just about big enough for a VW Transporter
Something I can leave on overnight without worrying if possible?

Best option is using your existing central heating with a thermostatic regulator on the radiator. However if your garage is in the back of your garden about 30 metres away from your central heater like mine than one of these is a good option: My garage (size around 35m2, 90m3, mildly insulated) temperature without heating tends to range between 5 and 8 degrees centigrade during normal winters but turning on this one on half power before diner (1500Watt) gives a comfy 10 to 12 degrees after diner which is just fine for me to be comfortable wearing a body warmer or jacket. Other possibility is oil, gas or wood burners but they are dangerous while working with petrol etc. and at least over here (I live in The Netherlands) in case of a fire the insurance may not pay because they do not like them to be used in a garage. You have to check that in the UK. Thom

Any cheap fan heater or electric heater will bring the temperature of a garage up from stone cold so long as it's not horrendously draughty and non insulated. Sounds like it's fairly well insulated if it's got a room above.

Gone for a 2kw oil filled radiator from Toolstation, should hopefully keep it just warm enough to spray. Also got a 2kw blow heater so will use both to warm it up and just the oil filled radiator overnight to keep it ticking over
