I’d be worried about the damage a jack and axle stands might do; but it does look smart.

I'm with eternaloptimist , if it's suitable really depends on how you use your garage. We have this on our kitchen and bathroom floors, and I use an off cut as a workbench (which doubles as the kitchen worktop) protector. It's pretty hard wearing, but it doesn't like sharp/ pointy objects pressing into it.

Yep. Theres no way that would stand up in my workshop.. infact I cant see how it would stand up in 99% of garages.. Even if I was just using it for parking I'd accidentally slip the clutch a bit to aggressively and either burn through it or roll it up in a ball..
Personally ceramic tiles is the ultimate for me. Yeh its a faff but more durable than anything else I've ever seen and if you do damage it it's not that hard to repair one tile at a time.

I had heavy duty square vinyl tiles (think 1980's warehouse concrete stairwell lobby chic!!!) fitted in the old workshop after the paint flaked on the first move of the trolley jack, it was a new build and quite demoralising after all the expense and hard work.
Whilst the axle stands were screwed to some ply to spread the load it was more to do with the style of the stand and the added advantage of a slightly higher car to work on, but the trolley Jack's were just used straight onto the floor.
If there was any significant grinding or welding being done then a piece of ply or osb would be used to protect the floor. Other than that it was easy to sweep up and I think it got mopped twice in 8 years as it didn't show the dirt, lol!!!!
