ok, Top Gear inspired thread here... If you had to go across africa what RetroRide would you take? would you take your current retro? I for one think my poverty spec Passat Li would be up for it. but others I would consider are: your thoughts!

2cv is a winner.. trabi could also be great... actually all aircooled stuff, just because it's simple. or a DAF (cos I am from eindhoven) just take some spare transmission belts..
