I've got a Maestro incoming soon, the rear arches are a bit scabby, as they tend to be. I've so far not been able to find anywhere supplying repair panels. Best option seems to be to buy front wings and chop the bit of arch off you need and use it on the opposite rear arch. Does anyone know better?
It is a metal bumper car rather than a plastic bumper one, but for the bit of arch I need that won't really make a difference.

Anything else with a similar profile that you can adapt? I can't picture the shape of a Maestro arch - in my head I'm thinking they might be similar to my Audi coupe in profile, but there's a massive difference between "a bit like" and "could be used". Failing that if it's not a complex shape, perhaps make the repair in pieces and weld together?

I'd considered Mk2 Golf arches and I reckon they'd do most of the profile, they just won't do the dogleg bit where they join the sill and that's the bit I'll likely need the most. I'll stick a picture in to illustrate. The car isn't here yet so I can't take different photos of it, but this is pretty illustrative of the issue. There's also an amount of filler in this arch, the profile should be crisper. Here's a shot of the front wing to show the bit you can theoretically use on the rear arch, the opposite side. A shot of a much better condition version of what mine is, so you can see the size of the arches. They're a good bit larger than the ones on a Golf, from memory.
