Can anyone recommend a good quality large hub puller?
I had a decent quality one but it broke trying to remove the rear hub on my e39.
Ideally it needs to have deep fingers that hook onto the rear of the hub.
Failing that, can anyone recommend a decent well priced hydraulic press?

I've got one of the cheap Chinese presses which used a 30T bottle jack, it's crude and slow but gets the job done.
If you are having to use a lot of force you really need one of the pullers which bolts to the wheel studs pulling in 2 or 3 places on the outer circumference is likely to damage the hub, I did make one for a jag once with a steel wheel and an M30 nut welded in the centre.

Thanks mate, I think I may end up going down the press route.
I’ve bought a bolt on puller but it’s just not wide enough to go over the centre bore of the hub, i tried modifying it too but I would have just needed to remove too much material.
Ideally I need to buy a welder and I’d be able to get myself out of these situations easier lol

It will come in handy even if you never use it
