Japanese classics are way out of my comfort zone with regards to values, but I’ve recently started looking at a few of the more quirky cars about. I’ve found a 1978 Mazda 323 1.3 RWD I’m tempted to buy, but was keen to hear from anyone who knows them better than I do.
It’s a SA car, and is apparently rust free and unwelded, and the photos seem to back this up. Runs and drives as it should, with SA roadworthy test present. 4 speed manual.
I’ve never seen one before, and have no idea on values over here. It’ll owe me circa £3.5k once bought, imported and registered/MOT’d. I generally buy a car to run for a few months, and move it one, hopefully with some profit for the next one. Knowing how knowledgable some folks on here are with classic Japanese stuff, thought it was worth an ask. So, Is there anything specific I should be asking the seller, and does the price seem reasonable?
Any advice appreciated!
