For sale here I have my Y Reg Volvo V70 Estate. I will keep this brief and edit the advert once I am home to include further details and photos.
The vitals.
Volvo V70 Estate
T5 5 cylinder turbo engine
Manual gearbox
Heated black leather
102k
I have owned this car for the past year, I have in that time (bearing in mind we’ve been in a 6 month “don’t go anywhere” status) covered 6k wonderful trouble free miles in the car, honestly, it’s not thrown a single problem, it has been utterly reliable and dependable. I bought the car as a work horse for an on going property project, can get into tips and carry 90% of what a van can! It’s been used for numerous house moves among friends and has been driven the width of the country numerous times. I actually managed my all time personal best in this car from Kent to devon back in the summer.
The reason for sale is due to simply having too many cars and unfortunately, 3 mots expire within the same week, as such this has drawn the short straw.
The mot expired on the car on the 13th Nov, which I didn’t realise until a little later. As such I am listing this car here today with no MOT. I see no reason as to why this will not pass another test, but I simply don’t have the time for the next few weeks to arrange this.
As such the car is sold with no mot.
There are no warning lights on the dash board, tyres are relatively recent Goodyear 4 seasons, exhaust has a slight blow which will be repaired prior to sale. Occasionally the car hunts at idle when cold but this has never given me any grief, hence I have never investigated it.
I’m sure we’ve all heard about and are familiar with the T5 Volvo, this is the 2.3 model and has been fantastic, will happily sit on the motorway and keep up with modern day traffic no problem. Pulls very well with no hesitancy and certainly puts a smile on my face.
Of the car is still for sale in a few weeks I will stick it through an mot and advertise it on eBay with a reflected price.
I am asking £1000 no offers for this, similar examples seem to be advertised at more, with the auto box and over double the mileage.
Photos will be included later today.
