On my Alfa diesel, 2 are stuck. I have cleaned out all dirt with a dental pick, made a nozzle for the vacuum and it’s all clean, they will not move. The internal diameter seems to be identical to the hole on the casing, I tried to lift them out with the pick, there is nothing to get under. Found a piece of dowel, put that in and whacked with a rubber mallet, trying to shock them loose, still nothing. Any suggestions ?

The proper tool is a small slide hammer with a easy out on the end.

There is not really a bad tar build up. Currently have a metal tube superglued on each seal, ya never know, picking up some proper picks tomorrow. I don’t think an easy-out would have anything to grip onto.

There is not really a bad tar build up. Currently have a metal tube superglued on each seal, ya never know, picking up some proper picks tomorrow. I don’t think an easy-out would have anything to grip onto. They wind into the copper washer. I normally press a long flathead screwdriver down onto one side of the seal, then a good sharp whack with a hammer will dislodge the seal.

Tried screwdriver and a whack. Nothing can wind into the washer, the internal diameter hole is exactly the same as the injector hole. 09.15 today, been and inspected actually wearing my glasses, the 2 stuck ones seem slightly different to the ones that came out with the injectors. As I know the previous owner paid to have work done that did not get done very well I suspect that 2 have been replaced, attempts have been made on 2 and then left.
