I know its a modernish car but my grande punto has rear drums which are most definatly not modern lol
earlier this year I put brand new shoes in [got them from brakes international in rochdale, cant remember what brand but they were good], the auto adjusters and everything were freed off and it had new springs and grease in all the right places
followed by taking the lip off the drums, refitting back together and finally adjusting handbrake cable
it just seems that one day the rear brakes are excellent, and if using handbrake to hold it on a slope its gripping and doing the job right, the next day it seems like the handbrake wouldnt hold a paper bag
would putting new drums on fix this?
