Current daily is a 1999 Audi A8 (D2). The newest car I’ve owned. It temporarily replaces a 1996 A6 (C4), which has done the job since 2003 and needs some TLC. Can’t figure out how to attach pics on my phone. Pics now attached. The A6 is low at the back because it has 350kg of tractor weights in the boot and rear footwells....... Most of the photos I have of it show it with something improbable tied on the roofbars or covered in mud after a rally.... Very useful and versatile vehicle! Nick

I daily a 1996 Range Rover which since Covid restrictions has found itself doing a lot more mileage than intended as the wife (a key worker in a school) can no longer lift share so I have to ferry her to and from work as well as attending my own job.

My daily driving is shared out between several cars of around 15 to 20 years old, none of which I consider retro at all. Just old, but still good, cars. Over summer I do tend to use older cars though, but I don't like them getting dirty, salty or crashed into in low light. Time for another land rover!

The newest car on my fleet is 1999 Range Rover p38 that is currently broken They then vary from a 1988 sapphire, through a 1985 escort cabrio, to a 1964 landy s2 and a 1962 anglia 105e Ironic that the most modern is the broken one!

Currently being deployed for daily duties and shuttling around is my 1996 Toyota Paseo...surprisingly frugal and nippy enough...

I've always dailied a retro since learning to drive. My newest car was a 20 year old e39 which was too new for me. Currently it's my 74 Beetle With my 77 924 as nice day car

2001 E46 here, not quite pre-2000 but certainly retro from a design/initial launch perspective. Despite being nearly 20 years old it still looks and feels like a thoroughly modern/new car to me. I'm currently looking for something newer and smaller for daily duties, so the E46 can go into semi-retirement and not have to drive on salty winter roads anymore.

LHD '88 8V Saab 900i, my daily since 2011 when we lived in Aarhus (Denmark) and the novelty of the monthly trek to Amsterdam (where I had an office) in a '70 Saab 96 and a '74 95 V4 had worn off. Bought because it was completely rust free; I was going to convert it to 8V turbo, and to RHD when we moved to Ireland in 2014. Two years ago I realised both were never going to happen because I have too many other projects with higher priority, so I sold all the parts. Happy with it as is, it's never given us any real trouble and it's pretty cheap to run (in the UK at least, not so much in Denmark and Ireland!).
If it wasn't for international travel, I think I would get rid of the 900 and go back to just V4s as we don't really need a daily car any more. I use all my cars all year round in all weathers anyway.

I only own retros at the moment so they are my dailies by default, not that we're going anywhere much these days.
Morris 1000 - 'restomod' Nissan Pao - 1.2 manual swapped.

Not sure mine qualifies as a retro yet (it's a 1999 design) but I daily a 2001 Bora 4motion 51 plate Golf GTi 20vt for me. It felt very retro when I drove a Corsa VXR Nurburgring a while ago! Doesn't feel that retro after driving my sister's Abarth Competizione.

This is my daily and my only car. It gets me to work every day (apart from when I use my 1967 Zündapp R50) and driving it never gets boring!
